Boston Speech Therapy, a reputable and woman-owned speech therapy company, is currently seeking a talented and compassionate Speech and Language Pathologist to join their team in a public school setting. This position offers a competitive rate of $65-$70 per hour, and CFY candidates are welcomed to apply.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of elementary aged students and make a positive impact in their lives. You will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills.Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose individuals with communication and swallowing disordersCreate and implement personalized treatment plansProvide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skillsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plansEducate patients and their families on effective communication strategiesMaintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progressRequirementsMaster's degree in Speech-Language PathologyValid state licensure or certification as a Speech and Language PathologistCFY candidates are welcomed to applyPrior experience in diagnosing and treating communication and swallowing disordersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamProficiency in utilizing specialized technology and software related to speech-language pathologyBenefitsThis is a contract position until the end of the 2023-2024 school year. Benefits are unfortunately not included with this position.$70 hour contract position
