Job Description:As an OnBase Architect, you will act as the functional expert for OnBase applications and related systems, leveraging your expertise to ensure alignment between business processes and application functionality. This role involves analyzing and defining functional requirements, supporting business processes through effective design recommendations, and guiding testing processes. Working closely with Programmers, you will bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to assess application impact, design strategies, and manage ongoing maintenance and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, define, and document functional requirements to support business needsProvide clear definitions for application support of business requirementsConduct impact analysis to assess business requirements on system functionalityCollaborate with Technical Support to establish software/hardware requirementsGather and interpret user requirements into detailed design specificationsParticipate in and lead application design and test review processesOversee and facilitate test planning, ensuring thorough evaluation of applicationsAct as the functional expert, offering guidance on business processes and application integrationDevelop and implement user interface strategies in collaboration with technical teamsIdentify, track, and resolve issues, risks, and action items to maintain project momentum
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience managing complex requirementsAbility to assist in training and documentation, including user guidesExperience with Project Management Methodologies and complete project lifecycle managementProficiency in creating user stories, tasks, and tracking defectsFamiliarity with manual testing practices and tools, including Microsoft Test ManagerExperience with System, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Skilled in conducting requirements analysis and creating workflowsKnowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies, and ability to create Business and Functional requirementsExperience in developing stakeholder/user requirements, focusing on deliverable impact and needsCompetency in documenting Quality-of-Service (QoS) requirements for non-functional aspects like scalability, security, and usabilityAbility to define report specifications and develop Requirements Traceability Matrix
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
