The Customer Engineering group will perform the following tasks:
EVE Hardware certification
Market place app certification
Complex PoC support
Customer issue reproduction support
Technical Documentation validation and support
Qualifications
BS Computer Science, Information Technology or similar experience8+ years experience supporting technical end-usersExcellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skillsProven technical writing skillsProject management skillsExcellent communication and written skills (English)Good understanding of hardware appliances (Intel and ARM based) and configuration of UEFI/BIOSTroubleshooting capabilities of hardware appliances, in the lab or fieldExperience working with hardware OEM partners for troubleshootingLinux system administration & advanced Linux troubleshootingPython programming and Shell ScriptingGood understanding of test frameworks and automation toolsDevelop automation and tools for deployment and QA at scaleHardware virtualization working knowledge, familiar with both Type 1 and Type 2 hypervisorsLab management and automation skillsGood understanding of network design, implementation and troubleshooting, specifically L2 and L3.Knowledge of working with RESTful APIsInternal and customer-facing Knowledge Base contributionHelpful :Virtual Networking/Security appliances (Silver Peak, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks)vCenter/ESXi deployments and administration, Hyper-VDocker containers, Kubernetes, Azure IoT
