Details Client NameHCA Houston Healthcare Northwest Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyNICU Job ID29423025 Job TitleTravel-RN-NICU (672) / 7P-7A / 13 Weeks Weekly Pay$1744.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date11/11/2024 End Date02/10/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: NICU - Level III Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Level III NICU License: RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS Must-Have: Level III NICU experience Job Description: - Work in a 24-bed NICU unit with comprehensive care equipment including ventilators, IV pumps, CPAP, oscillators, and phototherapy lights/blankets. - Perform typical procedures such as lumbar punctures, chest tubes, intubation, IV starts, arterial sticks, and UAC/UVC placement and maintenance. - Maintain and demonstrate autonomy in practice while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. - Support a night shift team composed of a charge nurse, 4-6 RNs, ensuring patient ratios of 2:1 for Level III and 4:1 for Level II. - Exhibit strong teamwork, helpfulness, and flexibility as a part of the NICU team. - Be available for weekend shifts, typically 4-5 weekend shifts per month. - Comply with dress code requiring royal blue scrubs. - Utilize EMR systems Meditech and GE Centricity (CPN) to document patient care efficiently. - Ensure all candidates are fully vaccinated as medical declinations are not accepted.Please note, orientation hours and specific unit policies and guidelines can be attached separately.
