Objective of the Job: Support CP Mechanical and Reliability Supervisor in daily activities to ensure the Planning of safe, efficient, and successful Maintenance Outages. Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Ensure Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements are followed and a Priority. 2) Ensure good housekeeping practices are carried out in job areas. 3) Schedules maintenance programs and processes for Coating Area of Big River Steel to minimize production interruptions. 4) Coordinate Coating Products Maintenance Activities and scheduling or preventive maintenance following proper codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, and other relevant specifications. 5) Works with Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Personnel and evaluates the need for replacement parts. 6) Works directly with all Mechanical, Electrical, and Operations Personnel in a fast-paced environment to help develop a safety focused and productive process team. 7) Provide Support to the Coating Products Manager and Maintenance Team in facilitating a seamless working relationship between all team members. 8) Assist Operations personnel as needed for operational tasks that are needed to successfully support the Processing Line. 9) Support Maintenance and Operations to help maintain a positive and efficient work environment focused on safety and reliability. 10) Work collectively with the Coating Products Manager and Maintenance team with the Planning and Execution of Monthly and Annual Outages. 11) Build and update Gantt chart of outages and update all team members daily of Outage Progress. 12) Work with Coating Line Management to manage cost to ensure Big River's Success.

Qualifications: 1) Demonstrated focus on safety and willingness to proactively apply it in a team environment. 2) Demonstrate strong team orientation and positive attitude. 3) Quality and Detail oriented. 4) Ability to interact with team members from various levels of the Organization. 5) Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. As well Presentation skills. 6) Ability to interpret and understand Mechanical and Electrical Schematics. 7) Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Coating Equipment. 8) Excellent Planning and Organization Skills. 9) Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Project. 10) Ability to Multitask. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: The environment is typical for a steel mill production area, with extreme temperatures, high noise levels, and dusty/greasy areas. Physically demanding work will be required in the production environment. Scheduled work hours are day shift Monday through Friday, however additional hours in a week will most likely be required.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not supervise others
