Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position:
Community Coordinator
in the Department of University Housing.
The Community Coordinator will serve as an entry-level live in professional working directly with University Housing's Resident Success Team to foster a student environment that fulfills the goals and mission of University Housing. Each Community Coordinator will coordinate and administer all aspects of a resident success program in their assigned area housing up to 600 residents. Community Coordinators select, train, supervise, and evaluate up to thirteen Resident Advisers.

Student Services Program Coordinator II (CB70/61122902/ PCLS202400092), full-time position with benefits. Salary range: $38,985.00 (minimum) - $55,559.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. Serves in a 24/7 administrator on-call and support staff rotations-with a minimum response time expectation. Duties

Manages the operations of a residential community.
Engages with the community utilizing the departmental engagement model.
Serves on a 24/7 administrator on call and support staff rotation responding to self harm, title IX and other behavioral and facilities concerns.
Serves as a case manager to demonstrate care, provide follow-up, and educate students regarding their behaviors.
Serves as a departmental liaison and participates in department and university-wide initiatives. Qualifications

A Master's degree and experience responding to behavioral issues with strong leadership and administrative skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Professional experience in a university or college student housing setting, including live-in/live on duties as well as crisis response. Prior direct supervision of student para-professional staff and case management experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Able to apply student development theory in everyday practice, promote academic success and social justice within a community, and familiarity with residential facilities. Competence in primary computer applications, social media, database management, and attention to detail in administrative responsibilities.
