About the Position:
C. R. LAURENCE, the leading full-service provider of architectural metals and glass fittings, is seeking an experienced and energetic, regional Architectural Business Development Manager, based out of Seattle for the US Northwest region. This position will report to the Director of Architectural Business Development and is responsible for securing C. R. LAURENCE basis of design specifications, tracking and reporting on projects in the C. R. LAURENCE CRM system, and the general building and promotion of the C. R. LAURENCE brand and products within the architecture and construction industry
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrate a firm experience-based understanding of the specification-driven bidding process within the design and construction industry.Recent experience as a Project Manager, Sales or Business Development Leader calling primarily on the design community, more than 5 years experience required.Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountabilityStrong professional presence with the ability and confidence to professionally present to large groups, specifically architects and project teamsDisplay a high level of critical thinking to identify needs, requirements, and concerns, to communicate solution-based answers to complex questions.Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once, and the ability to meet deadlines.Ability to read architectural drawings and diagrams, and correctly interpret technical specifications.Comfort working across a large product portfolio.High level of computer, Microsoft Office, and CRM skills and acumenLEED certification, BIM Project Management experience, SAP experience a plusCollege DegreeMotivated by teamwork, being self-aware, and possessing a positive outlook are also a plus.Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field2-3 years experience of data to business interpretation and presenting analysis to business leadersMust be proficient in Office Suite products with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPointStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to process and present a vast amount of data into meaningful information.Excellent project management and organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong collaboration and partnering skills, the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
Target Salary $110,000
