The purpose of this position is to act as a business partner to the Plant Manager, directing the finance function at a manufacturing facility. The Plant Controller will effectively utilize resources for the assigned site and ensure those resources satisfy production schedules and customer expectations while meeting the needs of the site.

Key responsibilities include directing the operation of Information Systems, Procurement, and Accounting to provide adequate manufacturing systems, with additional responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Compliance

Full ownership of the P&L and Balance SheetComplying with the company and business unit financial reporting requirements.Ensuring completion of the company's Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls.Act as an authority on GAAP-related accounting matters for the site, including areas such as revenue recognition and cost accountingAct as the primary interface to external auditors concerning site matters.Leadership

Supervising department employees.Developing Finance team membersSet goals and evaluate team members against the goalsBusiness Partnering

Identify key levers to drive business improvement and provide leadership to ensure implementation for business improvement opportunities.Determining in conjunction with the plant management, targeted goals for performance measures of quality, productivity, delivery, cycle time, inventory optimization, and profitability.Coordinate and administer an adequate plan for the control of operations including; profit planning an analysis, sales forecasts, expense budgets, cost standards, saving opportunities, and capital investingDeploying business unit initiatives.Coordination of the capital appropriation process and post-project reviews.Forecast short- and long-range cash requirements and obligations as a basis for maintaining adequate funds.Keep the Segment Corporate controller informed of the site's performance and provide advice on all financial matters, including desirable operational adjustments.Attributes

This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.BS or BA in Business Administration and/or Finance Accounting from an accredited institution.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA, CMA, and/or CPAPlant Controller experience for a manufacturing facility with at least $150 million in annual revenues.At least 2 years of supervisory experience with the ability to manage and develop Staff (Financial and Operational)High proficiency in using MS Office software, experience with Oracle, Hyperion, or similar systems, project management, multi-tasking, and developing/executing data queries.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Strong organizational skills concerning managing multiple projects with tight deadlines in a high-pressure/high-intensity environment.Strong cost accounting skills - Multi-level Routing and Bill of material Cost Accounting Experience.Ability to dig for details and work on challenging projects.Ability to communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner to non-finance personnel.Outstanding communication, leadership, and teamwork skillsExperience in using queries, including Essbase, Hyperion, Oracle or similar systemsExperience in a job order/discrete manufacturing environmentENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
