POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems that enable business goals and improve product functionality. The engineer will leverage extensive technical expertise to produce scalable, maintainable, and efficient code while collaborating cross-functionally to align solutions with business objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Consistently develops code that is production-ready, easily testable, clear for other engineers to understand, and resilient to edge cases and errors.Understands the team's approach to testing and leverages quality metrics to pinpoint improvement areas, ensuring alignment with the testing pyramid and standard frameworks.Addresses incidents, uses advanced debugging techniques to diagnose complex issues, and ensures lessons learned are shared across the organization.Contributes to a culture of observability within the software engineering team by either collecting and using or encouraging others to use operational data to enhance stability and performance in their areas.Possesses comprehensive understanding of the company's architecture, promotes scalable solutions, and ensures seamless integration between domains and bounded contexts.Provides input on design choices that anticipate future requirements, helping minimize the cost of subsequent changes.Collaborates with software engineering and security leadership to refine the organization's security strategy, proactively identifying obscure security threats and fostering a security-first culture across teams.Leverages agile methodologies (Scrum) in coding, testing, and deployment to consistently deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions that meet business requirements.Contributes to refining development methodologies, such as agile practices and code review processes, to enhance productivity and quality.Projects a positive image AgReliant Genetics and acting in accordance with the Company's Core ValuesOther duties as needed.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Seven (7) or more years of experience as a software developer.Programming skills in .NET, C#, and SQL required.Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, VB, Blazor, and Power Apps preferred.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
