E- Commerce Product Specialist
Job Summary:
The key responsibilities of the E-Commerce Product Specialist will be responsible for managing various aspects of product presentation on our eCommerce platform, including product pages, images, descriptions, photography, vendor collaboration, collections, product tags, and SEO optimization. This role requires a strong attention to detail, creative flair, and a passion for delivering exceptional online shopping experiences. This is a part-time non-exempt hourly position.
Job Specifications/Key Accountabilities:Product Pages Management:
Create and update product pages with accurate and compelling content, including titles, descriptions, pricing, and specifications.Ensure product pages are optimized for conversion and user experience.
Image and Photography:
Capture high-quality product photos as needed, adhering to brand guidelines and standards.Edit and enhance product images for consistency and visual appeal.
Product Descriptions:
Write clear, engaging, and SEO-friendly product descriptions that highlight key features and benefits.
Vendor Collaboration:
Partner with vendors to obtain product assets such as images, videos, and specifications.Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely asset delivery and updates.
Collections and Product Tags:
Curate product collections based on trends, seasons, and customer preferences.Implement relevant product tags and categories for easy navigation and searchability.
Assist E-Commerce Merchandising Manager with tasks as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, eCommerce, or related field.Proven experience in eCommerce product management, preferably in the retail industry.Proficiency in product photography, photo editing software, and content management systems (CMS).Strong copywriting skills with a focus on SEO optimization.Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and tools.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
