GYF- Tree Atlanta Beltline ProgramThe Atlanta Beltline Tree Planting Program, is a multi-phased job program that is focused on the continued preservation and beautification of the Atlanta Beltline, through the planting of trees.

This program is partners our metro, underserved young adults with an opportunity to be engaged as an active contributor to the beautification of their environment. Participants learn the phases of tree planting, safe tool use, pruning skills, as well as additional arborist skills through structured hands on training from our Trees Atlanta partner.

Additionaly, participants will learn professional job skills, as well as personal professional development skills, through structured class style training sessions. The participants will gain experience in arborist industry that may be a conduit to career paths in tree care or environmental preservation.

Objectives include:

To bridge the gap betweenTree Care Industry and under-served youthTo develop and improve the quality of life in which participants live, through outdoor beautification and stewardship.To introduce and prepare youth for career opportunities in tree care.

To decrease rates of unemployment, crime, and poverty amongst under-served youth

Work Days: Mon - Thurs. 8am - 4pm
