a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Senior Level Project Manager with an active Secret Clearance to support
KMS
and our government customer in Huntsville, AL.
This position is a weekly hybrid schedule consisting of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Under the guidance of the Program Manager assists in achieving project milestones under an Agile IT process. The Project Manager must manage projects to modernize, migrate, and sustain software and hardware efforts to support multiple complex Line of Business (LoB) projects. Project Manager will partner with and assist project teams through all phases of the project life cycle and apply the latest Project Management methodologies and practices for all individual projects as well as for overall Project Governance.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:Demonstrated experience in leadership of large, complex, multi-team technical projects.Knowledge and experience of Cloud environments preferred.Prior experience in Project Management for the Department of Defense or other Government entities is a plus.Create and manage project plans to establish timelines, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.Elicit project requirements from various resources and stakeholders.Develop thorough documentation to establish a clear understanding of expected results.Communicate and collaborate with leadership and technical teams to ensure alignment on project deliverables as well as adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.Facilitate meetings to mitigate risks, solve problems, and optimize processes to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to provide updates, manage expectations, and supply insight on project performance and health.Collaborate with Change Management and other Governance resources to ensure compliance and meet quality assurance standards.Partner with leadership to assist with strategic planning, process improvement, and IT modernization to achieve organizational goals, vision, and mission.Assure timely and organized closure of completed projects to confirm all obligations are satisfied and project documentation is properly recorded.Ensure and maintain compliance in coordination with the cybersecurity team.Assist with DoD secure technical guides and milestones as changes are made to any structure to support Cybersecurity and Change Management.Communicates ideas, verbally and in writing, as well as prepare briefings for presentation to leadership and management staffs.Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education: BA/BS in Information Technology, Information Management or EngineeringExperience: 84 months hands on experienceCertification: CompTIA Security+ before joining, PMP or ITIL Intermediate or aboveActive, Interim, or ability to secure a SECRET clearance before start date.
Working Environment & ConditionsThis job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
