Responsibilities:• Assess students using standardized and non-standardized assessments.• Read, analyze and interpret educational documentation.• Develop IEP goals based on assessment information.• Facilitate and implement IEP goals as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to write goals and implement therapy plans.• Effectively write reports and communicate information to parents and team.• Attend team meetings, planning meetings, and IEP meetings.• Collect data and analyze data for progress monitoring.• Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion and according to state regulations.• Develop a schedule of individual and group therapy sessions.• Act as a coach to other team members.• Keep all state certifications and CEU's active and in compliance.• Perform other job-related activities at the request of a supervisor.
Required Knowledge:• Knowledge of approved principles, state regulations, professional ethics, and evidencebased therapy practices used in the field of speech-language pathology.• Knowledge of school-based practices, including curriculum and methodologies relatedto classroom learning.• Knowledge of educational records, including timelines for RR's, IEP's, practitioner logs,and essential school-based documents.• Knowledge of a variety of assessment tools used to evaluate students with complexphysical and cognitive needs.• Knowledge of all state certifications and required continuing education• Knowledge of basic computer technology
Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree• Master's degree in communication Disorders or equivalent• PA State License• Level II Teacher Certification
