Facility Services Assistant

We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Facility Services Assistant to join our Treasure Valley Hotel Facility Services team located at the The Inn at Treasure Valley working .Summary:Performs any combination of cleaning tasks for assigned areas and facilities, including hospital, gaming, manufacturing and office environments, restrooms and corridors to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.Responsibilities: Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc. Cleans assigned area- Cleans and sweeps floors- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms- May empty ash trays- Disposes of trash- May clean exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks- Aligns seats close to machines in gaming areas Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums and performs basic cleaning and janitorial procedures Dusts, polishes, and cleans furniture in common areas and other areas as requested Cleans windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, baseboards, jambs, trim and walls, maintain sanitization of restrooms, empty and clean waste receptacles Mixes various cleaning agents and use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces Maintains equipment and materials used to fulfill tasks and replenish supplies and keep simple records of work performed and materials used Uses safe and sanitary work practices when cleaning facilities and using cleaning chemicals Performs all other duties as assignedCompetencies:Essential: Able to follow instructions, both written and oral Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines Understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management Keeps written recordsSkills:Essential: Vacuum cleaner, basic equipment, knowledge carpet care Janitorial equipment and suppliesExperience:Essential: No prior experience required.Education:Essential: High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Essential: Pass general background check Standard Driver's License Gaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:Essential: Vibration Commercial and residential vacuum Potential exposure to biohazards Potential exposure to cleaning fluids and solvents Risk of electrical shock Potential exposure to fumes Pass pre-employment drug test Gloves Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach Hand-eye coordination, reach and grasp Manual dexterity Constantly lift and or carry up to 10 lbs Frequently lift and or carry up to 25 lbs Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs Moderately strenuous work Standing up to 100% of shift Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception Walking up to 100% of shiftNonessential: May work where cigarette smoking occurs May work in loud or noisy areas Noisy Moving mechanical parts Sometimes work at heights
