Shipping Associate

**Job Title: Shipping Associate****Job Description**We have 2 open positions for the Shipping role. The shifts are 1st shift – 7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm (must be open to both shifts – depending on truck schedule). The pay rate is $17.80/hr. This is a contract-to-hire position with the opportunity to join the union after 90 days.Typical day:• Drive a stand-up tow motor for the majority of the day• Pull and pack orders• Follow pick tickets• Lift up to 30 lbs• Load and unload trucks• Verify paperwork for receiving pallets and put away stock• Wrap and tag orders• Complete tracking sheets and verify customer names and order numbers• Perform tasks manually without RF scanners• Utilize basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) to determine pallet and truck loading• Be open to working until 5:30 pm depending on the truck schedule• Work in a fast-paced environment**Hard Skills**+ forklift+ basic math skills+ documentation**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Solon, Ohio.**Work Environment****MUST HAVE NO ALLERGIES TO ANY NUTS**• Distribution environment• Temperature controlled**About Aerotek:**We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
