POSITION SUMMARY:

The Commercial Coordinator Assistant will assist in the processing and administration of commercial loans. This entry-level position is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of commercial lending operations, including loan origination, documentation, and customer service. The role involves working closely with loan coordinators and loan officers to develop the necessary skills for a successful career in commercial lending. Conducts relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies, procedures and systems, the corporate code of conduct, Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the preparation of loan documentation and agreements.Help collect and verify required financial information from borrowers.Support the review of loan applications for accuracy and completeness.Serve as a point of contact for clients throughout the loan process.Respond to inquiries and provide updates on loan status.Maintain and update loan files and records in compliance with regulatory requirements.Enter and manage loan data in the company's loan management system.Work closely with loan coordinators and credit analysts to facilitate loan closings.Participate in team meetings to discuss loan progress and challenges.Engage in training sessions to learn about commercial lending products, processes, and compliance.Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting commercial lending.Operate a variety of office administration equipment such as PC, copy machine, calculator, printer, scanner, etc. Utilize computer software applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, Outlook, credit bureau, and Internet.Maintain a neat and orderly work area and ensure that all confidential records are secured and/or disposed of properly.Attend all required training.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist others in the department as needed and/or directed.May be assigned other duties and responsibilities. May be assigned work or training at other assigned locations.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

High school education or equivalent.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Previous experience in banking or finance is a plus but not required.Familiarity with loan processing systems or financial analysis tools is a plus.Willingness to assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects as they arise.Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
