- The Director of Operations will oversee the agencys day-to-day operations, ensuring that all teams are functioning effectively and efficiently. This role will require a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage complex situations, optimize workflows, and enhance team performance .Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:
Lead and manage the agencys daily operations, ensuring that all processes are efficient and align with the company’s goals and values.Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and client satisfaction. Collaborate with the Compliance Department to ensure workflow adherence and minimize E&O exposures.Team Management:
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of insurance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Review team capacity and make changes when needed. Review Path to Promotion Assessments and provide recommendations to the Director of Human Resources and the President.Client Service Excellence:
Oversee client service operations, ensuring that all client interactions are handled professionally and client needs are met promptly and effectively.Small Business Unit Oversight:
Oversee the Commercial Lines Small Business Unit, ensuring adequate staffing to support departmental needs and workloads. Identify and implement the most efficient workflows utilizing technology to enhance productivity. Manage the size and structure of the department to align with business goals and market demands.Technology Integration:
Lead initiatives to integrate new technologies and tools that enhance operational efficiency.IT Managemen t: Oversee managed service provider, ensuring effective implementation and management of technology solutions and systems. Collaborate with IT to ensure cybersecurity and system reliability.Vendor Relationsh ips: Manage relationships with key vendors (ResourcePro, Patra, Applied) to ensure proper utilization and superior service.Qualifications:High School Graduate (college degree preferred or work-related experience)Minimum of 7 years working in the P&C insurance industryValid P&C insurance licenseExperience with Applied Systems products preferred, including EPIC, CSR24, & IndioIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong understanding of insurance operations and workflow managementExcellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenProven ability to lead teams, mediate conflict, and manage performance effectivelyExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skillsBenefits package includes:Health insurance:
