Marketing Legal Compliance Coordinator II
The Marketing Legal Compliance Coordinator II works on a team responsible for verifying the legal compliance of all forms of public communications coming from Lithia Motors and our dealerships. This position is based out of the Lithia Home Office with the option for remote work.
Location: Remote (EST preferred)
Compensation: $30,000-$63,000
We offer a competitive starting wage that is based on a variety of factors, including the specific role, experience, qualifications, skill set, and education.
ResponsibilitiesVerify the legal compliance of all forms of public communications coming from Lithia Motors and our dealerships.Improve upon existing processesMaintain a file system that allows quick access to approved ads and evidence of approvalMaintain the library of publications and electronic files relevant to the departmental missionBecome an expert on federal and state automobile advertising lawsMaintain a reference catalog of state and federal lawsContinually investigate new Federal and state laws' that regulate the Web and email broadcasts.Manage and track incoming email and projects on hold.Financial fraud and Truth-In-Lending ActFederal Real ID ActTCPA ComplianceUSPTO researchProofread various LAD projects for spelling and GrammarBe an expert on:
Do-not-callPrivacy lawsPerform periodic audits on the following:Lithia dealership websitesLithia craigslist advertisements
When Lithia expands into new states:
Investigate advertising laws and develop a compliance guide for each stateInvestigate laws pertaining to our industry for the support other Lithia departments
Provide support for the goals and responsibilities of other team members.Make process recommendationsDevelop quick and simple compliance references for the creative staffProvide support for the goals and responsibilities of other team membersVarious other duties not described here.Other projects as requiredSkills and Qualifications
