The salary range for this position is $55,000-$80,000 annually (salary dictated on level of certifications and experience).
This position requires you to work with individuals on the Autism Spectrum between the ages of 5-22 years old.
Job Summary
If you are an Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a rewarding opportunity, QSAC is searching for a dedicated NYS Certified Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech Language Disabilities (TSSLD) with NYS Certification of Clinical Competency (CCC) to provide speech and language therapy to assess and treat speech, language, and social communication disorders in children with autism spectrum disorder.

Responsibilities
Program Development & Assessment
Ensure that speech and language programs are developed and implemented in accordance with behavioral principles and the individual needs of each student's IEPConduct formal and informal assessments of student's speech, language, and communication skillsWrite IEP goals, objectives and updatesImplement data collection, behavior management interventions and the principles of behavior analyses during individualized therapy sessions in accordance with the IEPMaintain daily attendance of speech sessions and session notesCommunication & Training
Participate in Parent/Teacher Clinics in order to promote generalization of speech and language skills learned in school. This may entail formal and informal contact with teachers and parents, as well as parent therapy observations, direct parent training, IEP and parent conferences, and home visits when requestedParticipate in staff/team meetings and required staff trainingQualifications & Work Experience
NYS Certification of Clinical Competency requiredNYS Certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech Language Disabilities (TSSLD) requiredMA Degree in Speech Language Pathology requiredAt least 6 months experience employing behavior analytic principles with children with ASDKnowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, including Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) highly preferredMission
