A well known Education Administration located in New York, is in need of Speech-Language Pathologist.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Planning and implementing individualized intervention strategies that foster communicative competence• Collaborating/consulting with classroom teachers• Selecting and conducting appropriate assessments based on individual student needs• Preparing evaluation summaries and annual review reports• Develop treatment plans (IEPs) that are strength-based for overall educational improvement• Participating in IEP meetings• Engaging in continuing education and professional growth activities
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including proficiency in English and American Sign Language(ASL)• Excellent interpersonal skills• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate• Proficiency in American Sign Language required.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software• Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:• Candidates must have the following credentials:• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program• ASHA membership• TSHH or TSSLD certificate
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer• Prolonged periods of walking around in and outside of the building• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
