We are looking for an eager auditor who has a a few years experience in public accounting and audit, who wants to grow in their career, and who naturally adopts a collaborative approach to audit work. This individual will be responsible for audit engagements including their planning, executing, directing, managing the budget, meeting deadlines and client expectations. They will report to an Audit Supervisor in our Audit & Assurance Department.

THE SKILL SETBachelor's degree, or above, in Accounting.CPA license is a plus, or working/planning to attain it.Three years' experience in public accounting as an auditor.Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.Ability to work independently and in teams.

WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL

Complete new hire orientation and onboarding.Complete introductory training.Begin growing your internal network by meeting with Supervisors, Managers and Directors.Understand the audit process and concept of risk assessment.Participate in pre-audit planning for audit engagements.

WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL

Review client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control.Complete internal control testing.Conduct audit tests.Participate in preparation of financial statements and reports.Perform analytical analysis of audit documents and preparing the documentation to support audit opinions.

WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL

Interaction with clients to discuss audit issues.Make recommendations to improve client controls and procedures.Completion of analytical procedures and reviews.Assist supervisors and managers with various engagements.Development of industry awareness and client relationships.

WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU'LL

Be involved in audit engagements including their planning, executing, directing, managing the budget, meeting deadlines and client expectations.Design audit approaches, conduct audit engagements, lead audit teams.Supervise, train and mentor staff on client engagements.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 Per Year
