Responsible for tracking inventory and stock changes, which includes overseeing inventory control, inspecting inventory, and maintaining stock levels. Other duties will include reporting discrepancies to management, looking for inventory discrepancies, creating reports, complete cycle counts and physical inventory.
Job Duties
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages
• Provide inventory reports to Purchasing and Operations
• Complete inventory counts regularly
• Reconcile inventory counts to ensure accuracy
• Assist with inventory audits and other special projects
• Analyzing the root causes of inventory discrepancies that necessitate adjustments, helping identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with our offsite 3PL location to ensure alignment on inventory management goals, processes, and performance metrics.
Required Skills
• Forklift and Reach Truck experience required
• 2-3 years experience in inventory control or related field
• Experience with an inventory management system
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent math and analytical skills
• Ability and willingness to commute to Sandford, NC on an as needed basis to assist with inventory duties at Trensor's 3PL facility.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or GEDExperience with computerized inventory systems
