The Officer, Donor Relations (Stewardship) at Brigham and Women's Hospital helps build an unparalleled donor experience through engaging stewardship initiatives. The scope of work includes donor relations, recognition, stewardship, and related communication activities. The position reports to the Director of Donor Relations (Stewardship).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in crafting and implementing recognition and announcement plans for donors who make new principal gifts.Helps develop the suite of customized, multi-year stewardship plans for our most generous donor families. Coordinate with other members of Donor Relations and Gift Officers to execute agreed-upon deliverables. Leverage CRM to track the steps for these plans.Working with Donor Relations colleagues and Gift Officers, facilitate appropriate and timely stewardship of all major gift donors of $100,000 and above.Produce donor recognition lists, including any print and digital listings and physical walls on campus. Maintain the CRM database to ensure donor preferences are accurate and up to date, maintain list review procedures, and secure approval of donor lists by Gift Officers.Contribute to the evolution and execution of protocols and processes that ensure consistent and efficient stewardship.Assist with the timely delivery of stewardship gifts during and following gift celebrations as needed.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required, with 3-5 years of experience in development stewardship and donor relations.Strong project management skills and proven ability to meet target dates.A Dedication to customer service and quality standards.Proven ability to build productive working relationships with colleagues, including senior leaders and front-line staff.Experience with healthcare preferred.Ability to meet deadlines.Proficiency in CRM and MS Office product suite, including mastery of Excel and reporting tools within CRM and SharePoint.SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working optimally under deadlines and changing priorities.Excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to build professional and collaborative relationships that move initiatives forward.Exhibits good judgement, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information.Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
