Bumble is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior FP&A Manager to play a significant role within the Global FP&A Team. Managing 1-2 direct reports and reporting to the Head of Corporate & Strategic Finance, this role will focus on two core workflows: Internal Group Reporting and Forecast Management.
As the Senior Manager, you will work directly with Finance team members, coordinating and producing Monthly Financial Packs, Quarterly Board Presentations, and the maintenance and updating of our Reporting and Forecasting software. Additionally, you will be responsible for project managing, consolidating, and presenting the Annual Budget and Quarterly Reforecasts. You will also assist and contribute significantly during the quarterly earnings cycle along with ad-hoc analyses as it relates to KPIs, Financials, FX, and headcount throughout the quarter.
You will be based in New York or Austin and be part of a global, talented team of Finance professionals.
What you'll do
Responsible for monthly reporting and the integration of Bumble's ERP System (Netsuite) with FP&A's reporting and forecasting software (Adaptive)Own and be responsible for the production & improvement of the Monthly KPI model & related reporting, the group month-end deck figures & charts, and elements of the quarterly board packs. This function is not only to provide foundational materials for the FP&A team but also help the wider business understand business drivers and performance metricsOwn Headcount & Staff Cost Forecasting and Reporting Model - including budget management, variance analysis, and presentations to Senior ManagementProduce and perform various month-end P&L/BS reconciliations across the FP&A Reporting SuiteResponsible for building out standardized Models & datasets for the FP&A Team to use (eg cost center trackers and transactions reports)Drive continuous process improvements across the FP&A function - with primary focus on promoting accuracy, automation and standardization of processes and reportsServe as the Finance Team's Super-User/Administrator across Adaptive (Forecasting Tool) - with duties including reporting & forecasting maintenance, upgrades, configuration, data loading, and reportingBe the FP&A team's WorkDay (HCM Tool), Netsuite (ERP), Adaptive (Forecasting & Reporting) and Looker (BI Tool) expertPerform ad hoc Reporting 'go-to' for all P&L/Balance Sheet/KPI Metrics queries for around the business - from high-level summaries to deep diving transactional reportsLead, manage and develop 1 to 2 direct reports, driving performance by setting goals and development plans and fostering an environment to achieve those goals through ongoing feedbackAbout you
7+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity and/or FP&A roles (preferably within established International Brands in the consumer or tech space)You have strong knowledge and experience in Business Planning Cycles - including Budgets, Forecasts, Monthly/Quarterly ReviewsYou have exceptional Excel skills, with experience in financial modelling, and ability to work with large datasetsYou have exceptional Presentation skills, with experiences distilling and summarizing complex data into easy-to-understand exhibits for senior managementYou have exceptional ability to communicate to both Financial and non-Finance professionalsExperience working with Adaptive, Workday, Netsuite, and Looker (or similar systems) is preferredYou're a resilient team member who can thrive in a high paced environmentYou have the desire to understand the details of the Business and help bring Bumble's ambitious plans to life
$140,000 - $175,000 a year
Base Compensation Range: $140,000 - $175,000. For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. This position is also typically eligible to participate in our short- and long-term incentive programs. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Unlimited Paid Time Off Policy.
