Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A, this individual will be responsible for the budgeting and forecasting cycles, management reporting and monthly KPI reporting for parts of our North American business and to drive improvement of FP&A processes to add value to end customers. This position will interact regularly with senior executives, marketing/product management and the controllership function. We are looking for a forward-thinking, process-focused finance professional with a minimum of 5 years progressive FP&A and/or Finance experience. This individual will have earned a reputation for delivering on commitments and exceeding expectations, through strong financial acumen, ability to influence, hard work and drive to succeed.
Role:• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and monthly KPI analysis and reporting for key segments of our North American growth strategy. This includes oversight of the detailed build of projections at the center level, as well as consolidation for assigned business segments and regions.• Leads and assists in the development, monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators to identify risk and opportunities, including reporting of critical success factors• Optimizes the use of management tools and finance resources to facilitate financial analysis and strategic decision support• Drive process improvement in the FP&A teams functioning to drive improvements in reporting quality, reduction in manual effort, and better data and analysis for our business leaders
Education/Skills:• Professional accounting designation; a CPA, or CFA with 5+ years of progressive finance experience• Experience with financial systems and business intelligence tools, including report development & distribution• Experience with financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting across multi-unit organizations• Experience managing/mentoring other finance professionals• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written• Experience with and attention to detail and accuracy for management and board reporting• Experience operating in a fast-paced, changing environment of a growing business
