We are seeking a Union Specialist to join our Benefits team to assist with administering union benefit contribution processing and dues deduction withholding and remittance related to multiple collective bargaining agreements. The role is based at our corporate headquarters in Willow Grove, PA and reports to the Union Administration Supervisor.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Review collective bargaining agreements and maintain configuration of HR/Payroll system to ensure compliance with terms of the CBAResponsible for the timely processing of contractually required benefit contributions on a weekly and monthly basisAdminister dues withholdings and timely remittance of such to the local unionsReview and investigate payroll records to ensure accuracy of benefit contributions and dues deduction remittancesKeep all relevant files in retrievable fashion via electronic scanning/filing systemHandle telephone inquiries regarding benefit contributions and dues deductionsAssist with document gathering and review for union auditsRequirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business field preferredBenefit administration experience in a unionized environment a strong plus.Must have strong Excel skillsMust have excellent organizational skillsMust be detail oriented with a strong aptitude for mathMust have professional phone manner, good oral and written communication skillsMust be reliable and committed, able to meet deadlinesMust be a team playerPre-ScreenUpon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.Travel RequirementsTravel Required: Up to 10% per year.Physical Requirements:Rarely:

As a full-service utility contractor, Asplundh performs tree pruning and removals, right-of-way clearing and maintenance, vegetation management with herbicides, and emergency storm work and logistical support. Asplundh is the parent company of Asplundh Infrastructure Group whose subsidiaries provide overhead and underground line construction, planning and design, meter reading and AMR/AMI installation, electrical testing, and street lighting/traffic signal services. Asplundh also operates Rotor Blade Airborne Utilities Management, overhead electric distribution, and transmission lines using MD 500 helicopters.
