How You'll Make a Difference:
Arkos Health is seeking a Director of Quality. The Director of Quality provides oversight and direction to the STARS/HEDIS staff. They will be tasked with managing and holding staff accountable to department goals, initiatives, and outreach activities. The Director of Quality will be able to collect, report, and respond to metrics and to contribute to the organization's drive to improve the overall experience of patient care, including the quality of health, and work to reduce the cost of care across the population served.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and provide performance feedback to the department Staff, including annual performance reviews, and implement improvement plansEstablish individual and department weekly, monthly, and annual goals that support a minimum 4 STAR rating for Medicare, and 66th percentile on HEDIS measures for MedicaidDirects, supervises, and prioritized day-to-day functions of the department, ensuring gaps in care are captured and validatedProvide updated education regarding quality initiatives to staff and external stakeholdersAttend educational and demonstration activities to remain the subject matter of the departmentEvaluate data collected to develop strategies to improve overall performanceMaintain inventory of the department point-of-care testing suppliesMonitor data entry and maintain appropriate documentation and tracking for quality initiatives Director of QualityDemonstrate the ability to work collaboratively, efficiently, and effectively with internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with other internal department leaders to establish processes that support efficiency and overall goalsFollow procedures, practices, policies, and guidelines to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of patientsCreate, maintain, and improve policies and procedures for efficient department workflowAssist in investigation and resolution of data collection for all lines of businessPerforms other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the organizationQualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in related field3+ years of experience management experience, with at least 1 of those years in healthcare5+ years of experience in a healthcare environmentRecent and related experience working with HEDIS STARS ProgramExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power PointExperience in Electronic Health RecordsExperience with verifying eligibility and navigating through Insurance PortalsExperience with CPT II codesKnowledge HCC's and Medical DiagnosisBenefits:
