The Systems & Network Administrator role will provide effective infrastructure management while remaining compliant with policies, procedures, and security frameworks. The ideal candidate will have the right blend of experience and technical acumen. The ideal candidate performs a significant amount of customer facing support and will configure, install, and troubleshoot Networks, computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices in a mixed environment. The role will also be doing all Phone system, Google Workspace, Active Directory, MS 365 administration. This position requires 100% on-site availability during normal business hours and after hours for urgent support questions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Designs and deploys company LANs, VLANs, WANs, VPNs, and WiFi networks, including servers, routers, switches, and other hardware to fulfill business objectives.Makes Firewall and Core Switching configuration changes as needed, including update to firewall rules, updating routing tables, and troubleshoot network routing and connectivity issues.Maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory accounts, group policies, security updates and patching.Troubleshoot OS and hardware issues for systems running Windows and MacOS.Assists with building, deploying and administration of Windows, Linux, virtual servers, VMware EXSI etc.Provision and maintain phones and users in VoIP systemRespond to all escalated requests (ticketing system, phone calls, emails, Slack, etc.) in a timely manner and follow through with the customer until completion.Rack and configure any IT equipment as required.Identify and communicate areas of improvement to the IT team for consideration and implementation.Monitor network and server performance, logs and events, server updates, endpoint protection, etc.Creates and maintains technical documentation, user documentation, operational process documentation, and network diagrams.Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issuesPerform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backupsSkills and Knowledge Required:

Experience as a senior network admin w/ Cisco CCIE Route/Switch + CollabCertifications including: MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, etc. is a plusSecurity (IDS, Audits, Log Analysis, ISE)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration or a closely related field or equivalent experience required3 + years of Network Administration experienceSystem administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, VMware or other network-related fields are a plus
