We are currently looking for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support students in a school district in Lombard, Illinois. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Your role is crucial in helping students improve their communication skills, enhancing their academic performance and social interactions.
Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.Direct Therapy: Provide direct speech and language therapy to students using evidence-based practices.Collaboration: Work with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' educational programs.Progress Monitoring: Track and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.Education and Support: Educate students, families, and school staff on strategies to improve communication skills.Meetings: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings.Requirements
Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.Licensure: Valid Illinois state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Certification: Illinois PEL w/ Speech Therapy endorsementExperience: Experience in a school setting is preferred.Benefits
