Garver is seeking an experienced
Transportation Project Manager
to join our growing team in the
Dallas-Fort Worth
area. We are looking for high achievers looking to grow and develop their career with us through our technical and professional development programs and diverse career opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Manage successful completion of projects.Direct and coordinate work for individuals or multidiscipline teams.Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.Establish and maintain client relations with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), NTTA and similar clients, and be involved with marketing and contractual negotiations.Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule.Implement QA/QC procedures.Supervise project staff and act as mentor for less-experienced engineers and Project Managers.Perform other duties as needed.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited programLicensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)Minimum of Ten (10) years of relevant Roadway experience (TxDOT preferred).Practical working knowledge of the TxDOT Roadway Design Manual and the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD) as well as other TxDOT Design manuals and processes.Strong working knowledge of MicroStation (Geopak, OpenRoads, OpenRoads Designer).Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong working knowledge of MS OfficePreferred Requirements:
Previous roadway design experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on TxDOT (or other DOT) or Municipal transportation projects.TxDOT Pre-Certs.TxDOT Dallas and/or FTW contacts.3D Design experience.
