A fortune 100 client is looking to add a Data Steward Advisor to their team within India. Activities will include, but not limited to:Demonstrated proficiency in using Excel to source, analyze, normalize and process data to define requirements for ongoing processing and management of the data including quality validations.Strong knowledge and identifying/understanding Critical Data Elements and drafting of DQ rules to support their accuracyExperience utilizing Informatica Suite of tools (Axon, EDC, IDQ) is a plusAbility to translate business requirements into critical data dependencies and requirementsAbility to think beyond their current state (processes, roles and tools) and work towards an unconstrained, optimized designAnalytical mindset with Strong Communication Skills/Able to Persuade/Influence Others at all Organization Levels and the ability foster lasting partnershipsAn ability to solicit followership from the functional teams to think beyond the way the things work todayAble to align various stakeholders to a common set of standards and the ability to sell the benefits of the EDG programFoster lasting relationships across varying organizational levels and business segments with the maturity to interface with all levels of managementSelf-starter who welcomes responsibility, along with the ability to thrive in an evolving organization and an ability to bring structure to unstructured situationsAbility to arbitrate on difficult decisions and drive consensus through a diplomatic approachMatrix management skills and business acumenExcellent written & verbal communication skills

Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience working in Data Governance/Data Management/Data Analyst/Research Associate/Data Stewardship - - experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) company a plus, general understanding of data governance concepts and processes- Strong data management background with understanding of data ingestion, data cataloging, data quality, and stewardship- Functional and/or Data Management Experience in 1st/2nd/3rd party data- Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented.- Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with Visualization BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc).- Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules- Strong communication skills and Excel proficiency, including experience profiling with Excel- Experience researching, validating, profiling and cataloging datasets- Ability to own sub-tasks of a project with little supervision proactive mindset-Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Functional and/or Data Management Experience in CSR (Sustainability), Employee, or Location data
