Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Angular Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. Your future duties and responsibilities:•Design, Build and implement responsive single-page web applications using Angular framework (preferably Angular 8+)•Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.•Create or Update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.•Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.•Participate in all agile ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:•Advanced proficiency in coding in Angular•8+ years of IT experience as a Developer•8+ years of development experience with Angular with advanced skills, and more experience on the latest versions (preferably Angular 8+)•Expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code•Experience in building end-to-end solutions with Angular and integration with backend data services using REST Services•Experience in Typescript, design reusable components and services to consume REST APIs.•Proficient in writing unit tests using Jasmine/Karma•Expertise in triaging and fixing UI scripts, and backend interface issues including REST APIs•Focus on UI development 80% of the time and 20% of backend development with Java/Sprint boot.•Experience in building application CICD pipeline using Jenkins•Strong time management and work organization•Strong verbal and oral communication•Experience working in a fast paced agile environment•Passion for continuous improvement and learningEducation:Bachelor's Degree in and engineering discipline

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
