WHO YOU ARE As the Demand Forecasting Associate, you will play an essential role in the Supply Chain process for Le Creuset of America. You will be responsible for generating and maintenance of demand forecasts for different channels of the business including Wholesale, Retail Brick & Mortar, and Ecommerce. Your involvement in these areas will play a key role in shaping how LCOA can achieve short- and long-term growth objectives. You will partner with several departments including sales, merchandising, supply planning, marketing, and finance to gather all necessary information to generate informed and accurate demand forecasts. You will also work hand in hand with the Supply Planning team to understand constraints to supply and how that may impact demand forecasts.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Generate and maintain demand forecasts at item and customer levels.

Generate monthly historical sales information by item, customer, and channel in a collaborative format that Marketing, Sales, and Merchandising teams can review to help shape their forecast values.Review monthly forecast vs. actuals and customer forecast for large variances and adjust if needed for area of responsibility at the lowest line level.In future adoption of Planning Software, you will be responsible for generating and maintaining system-generated sales forecasts to provide to Marketing, Sales, and Merchandising for review (in addition to historical information). Anticipating seasonality and demand influencing eventsManage all changes to the demand forecast. Work with Sales, Merchandising and Marketing about what inputs need revisions, while understanding that Sales/Merchandising ultimately owns the forecasts.Monitor forecast accuracy KPIs to make adjusts to forecast to lessen out-of-stock or overstock scenarios.Responsible for loading "final" forecasts into ERP system for use by total companyMaintain the highest levels of data integrity, as many aspects of the business will be planned based on data generated and maintained by the Demand Forecasting team.Support the Demand Forecasting Manager in the monthly Consensus and S&OP (Local and Global) meetings.

Review large variances of forecasts month-over-month with the Demand Forecasting Manager.Partner with Demand Forecasting Manager to provide key details and feedback on forecasts to review in monthly S&OP meeting.Aid in generating consolidated roll-ups of demand plans to present to the sales teams for consensus.Manage feedback/revisions to demand forecasts based on Consensus meetings, supply constraints, and/or outcomes of the monthly S&OP meeting.Maintain cross-functional reports and participate in cross-department meetings

Daily collaboration with Supply Planning team to achieve optimal supply chain flow for the businessWork with the replenishment team to build and fill in Dropship/TAGG forecasts for replenishment purposes.Collaborate with Planning and Marketing to update and maintain revisions in New product forecast files and ERP system coming out of weekly meetings and Master Item tracker meetings.Work with Planning teams to prioritize ad-hoc forecast requests.Actively participate in any customer/merchant meetings.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

2+ years of proven experience in Demand Forecasting or PlanningDemonstrated ability to operate in a multi-channel environmentExtensive cross-functional and collaborative expertise with a focus on influencing and alignmentDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills required)The ability to establish, build, and improve processes from the ground upAbility to work within a rapidly changing environment with attention to detailSelf-starter attitude with the desire to develop and improve processesExcellent oral and written communication, organizational, and demonstrated problem-solving skillsAbility to sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods of timeCollege degree preferredEXTRA EXTRAS
