to join our marketing team. Reporting to the CMO, this role will be responsible for crafting compelling ad copy, writing engaging scripts for video content, developing website copy that converts, and collaborating with the SEO team to produce blog articles that drive organic traffic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of eCommerce and the dropshipping industry, as well as experience in writing for a variety of digital marketing channels.Primary Job Duties:Ad Copywriting: Develop persuasive and impactful copy for online advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and other platforms.Script Writing: Write scripts for video content, including promotional videos, tutorials, webinars, and YouTube content.Website Copy: Create, edit, and optimize website content to ensure clarity, consistency, and effectiveness in driving conversions.SEO and Blog Articles: Work closely with the SEO team to create blog articles and other content that aligns with SEO best practices and drives organic traffic to our site.Collaboration: Partner with the performance marketing team, social media team, and content team to align copy with broader marketing initiatives.Brand Voice: Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels and materials.Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to ensure our content remains relevant and competitive.Required Skills and Competencies:Experience: 2-4 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in the eCommerce or SAAS industry.Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, content marketing, and PPC advertising.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for various digital platforms.Proficient in adapting writing style to different audiences and formats.Experience working with SEO tools and an understanding of SEO best practices is a plus.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.Highly creative and strategic thinker.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Benefits:Unlimited PTOCompetitive salary and benefits package including paid Medical, Dental, and Vision benefitsCareer development and growth opportunitiesA collaborative and inclusive work environmentOpportunity to shape and grow the marketing department within a dynamic startupWe look forward to speaking with you!
