Job Description
gpac is partnering with a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 35 years to include John Deere Ag, Material Handling and Powersports locations, has an opening for a Location Manager in Iowa. The person will oversee the overall operations of the ag equipment dealership including sales of whole goods, parts, and service, and works closely with Regional Managers to grow the business, provide exceptional customer service, and engage employees to be the best in the business.
Essential Duties:Leads the process of defining and communicating the Business’ values/principles, vision, and mission.Leads the development and deployment of a comprehensive strategic business plan which integrates the business’ values, mission, resources, and goals.Facilitates the hiring, development, evaluation, and effectiveness of the management team.Oversees the evaluation, allocation, and management of human, physical and financial resources to fulfill the stakeholders’ expectations.Coordinates and delegates management activities through the management team.Ensures appropriate communications take place throughout the organization and chairs regular management staff meetings, business review meetings, etc.Exercises appropriate decision-making authority to ensure the organization moves forward in implementing the business plan and achieving its objectives.Implements sound business practices and processes to achieve the Business’ objectives.Ensures the Business’ reputation and image in the community is consistent with its objectives and that business relationships with all stakeholders are not compromised.Requirements
Strong leadership backgroundPassion to coach a team of highly functioning peopleProficient in Microsoft Office productsWorks well with teams, and competent in problem solving and decision makingValid driver’s license and a safe driving recordAbility to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pullingHigh school diploma requiredBachelor's degree in Ag Business or related field preferredBenefits
