The Associate Director of Concurrent Enrollment leads the planning, implementation, and evaluation of services for Concurrent Enrollment (CE) students, overseeing recruitment, advising, and registration to create streamlined enrollment processes that support students at each stage of their academic journey. They build and strengthen partnerships with high school stakeholders to enhance CE student success, act as a liaison to resolve student issues, and support smooth transitions from high school to college. The Associate Director drives strategic development of CE programs, collaborating with senior leadership to align program goals with institutional objectives, while also ensuring compliance by auditing course builds, verifying billing accuracy, and reviewing registration processes. They foster the professional growth of CE staff by promoting continuous improvement, staying informed on legislative changes, and serving as a subject matter expert on relevant committees. Additionally, the Associate Director identifies and implements opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, positioning the CE program as an innovative and impactful part of the institution.
ACC's Concurrent Enrollment Program serves over 9,000 students across 12 school districts and nearly 40 high school campuses, giving public high school students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to earn both high school and college credit. Through this program, tuition is covered by the school district or charter school along with the College Opportunity Fund, making college courses accessible to students at no cost. Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.Three (3) years' experience in a higher education, K-12 or related setting.Supervisory experience.Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and other computer applications to support assessment.Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form as appropriate for the needs of the audiencePreferred Qualifications
Experience in an administrative/student affairs position in higher education, preferably in a community college setting.Experience serving in a concurrent enrollment, advising, recruitment or related role.Experience with a student information system such as Banner or a related system.Experience with Navigate/Campus.Application Instructions
