Threat Tec, a leading provider of operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a highly qualified Strategic Planner to support the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) under the MARSOC SME FTE Support Program. The Strategic Planner will work directly with the Assistant Chief of Staff (AC/S) Combat Development and Integration (CD&I) for Strategy, Plans, Concepts, and Assessments (G-5) to assist in the development, refinement, and implementation of MARSOC's Future Vision, supporting campaign plans, strategies, and operational concepts.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Development:

Provide focused and dedicated support to the AC/S G-5 in developing potential futures for MARSOC through thorough analytical processes, including wargaming, experimentation, assessment, and concept development.Program Management:

Assist in program management and coordination to ensure alignment with MARSOC's Force Design and Operating Concepts.Documentation and Coordination:

Prepare and coordinate documentation related to strategic planning, ensuring accurate and effective communication across the Command.Operational Planning:

Participate in the component level operational planning and execution, integrating force operational plans with Joint Force requirements and contingency planning.Strategic Analysis:

Identify, model, and analyze strategic initiatives that align with MARSOC's mission and future force capability requirements.Communication:

Effectively communicate complex concepts and issues in both written correspondence and planning documents across all levels of the Command.Policy and Strategy Formulation:

Utilize knowledge of Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) publications, such as Unified Command Plans, to formulate strategies, concepts, and plans related to force design and strategic planning.Qualifications:Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Military Science or a related field preferred.Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience serving in the Department of Defense on a military staff, performing executive functions, and facilitating information flow between the Commander and subordinate units.Prefer experience serving in a Special Operations Forces billet for a minimum of 2 years.Experience in component level operational planning and execution, with knowledge of Marine Corps Planning Process, Joint Planning Process, or equivalent military planning processes.Knowledge:In-depth understanding of MARSOC's organization, structure, and mission.Familiarity with MARSOC's future force capability requirements development.Knowledge of Joint Force operational plans integration and contingency planning.Mastery of analytical techniques to comprehend, interpret, and convey complex strategic concepts.Communication Skills:

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across a component level Command and Staff.Security Clearance:

Must possess an active TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a Special Operations Forces (SOF) environment.Familiarity with the operational and strategic planning requirements specific to MARSOC and USSOCOM.
