Threat Tec, a premier provider of operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Analyst to join our team supporting Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) under theMARSOC SME FTE Support Program. This role is integral to the Assistant Chief of Staff (AC/S) Combat Development and Integration (CD&I) for Strategy, Plans, Concepts, and Assessments (G-5). The Strategic Analyst will provide expert analysis and strategic development to shape the future vision and operational concepts of MARSOC.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the AC/S G-5 in developing and refining the MARSOC Future Vision, supporting campaign plans, strategies, and operational concepts.Conduct thorough analytical assessments, wargaming, experimentation, and concept development to evolve MARSOC Force Design and Operating Concepts.Provide program management and coordination support to ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.Prepare and coordinate documentation related to strategic plans and concepts.Identify, model, and analyze strategic initiatives to support MARSOC's future capability development.Serve as the contract site lead, overseeing contractor administrative functions and managing the contract team in coordination with the government lead and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).Develop recommendations related to USMC and USSOCOM strategic planning, ensuring alignment with policy, guidance, and current issues.Maintain a strong understanding of Congressional law, executive orders, defense directives, and regulations relevant to major strategic reviews and objectives.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
required; Master's degree preferred.Graduate of formal military instruction
courses such as U.S. Military Intermediate Level School, U.S. Military Top Level School, and Joint PME Level II.Minimum of 3 years
experience in a senior Marine Corps or Joint staff position.Proficient in
the Marine Corps Planning Process, Joint Planning Process, or equivalent military planning processes.In-depth understanding
of U.S. Special Operations roles, missions, organization, and capabilities.Experience in
developing component-level or higher strategy or doctrine.Working knowledge of
MARSOC organization, structure, mission, and future force capability requirements.Experience within
MARSOC or another Special Operations Forces component.Familiarity with
Congressional law, defense directives, and strategic planning issues.Joint Qualified Officer
preferred.TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
required.Preferred Experience
Prior experience serving within MARSOC or a related Special Operations Forces component.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a contract team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
