We are seeking a proactive, knowledgeable IT Manager to oversee and manage our technology infrastructure, ensuring it supports the educational goals and daily operations of our school. The IT Manager will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure that technology resources are reliable, secure, and available.Job Summary :
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the school's IT systems, networks, hardware, software and PowerSchool. You will play a key role in maintaining technology infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of educational technologies. As the IT Manager, you will plan for future technology needs, and ensure the security and performance of all IT-related services.
Key Responsibilities :
Network & System Management : Oversee the managemnet and implementation of PowerSchoolNetwork & System Management : Oversee the management and maintenance of the school's networks, servers, workstations, and cloud-based services, ensuring reliability and performance.IT Support : Provide tier 2/3 support for technical issues that staff, faculty, and students encounter with computers, printers, network connectivity, and other devices.Cybersecurity : Ensure the security of all school IT systems, including implementing firewalls, encryption, user access controls, and disaster recovery plans.Collaboration with Educators : Work with teachers and administrators to evaluate, select, and implement educational technology tools and resources to enhance learning.
