Job DescriptionOur school district near Riverside, Illinois is seeking a Master's level Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a maternity leave position. We are ready to interview and finalize contracts for this full-time temporary role.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.Develop individualized therapy plans based on evaluation outcomes and client-specific goals.Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to establish and track therapy objectives.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of evaluations, therapy plans, and progress.Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.Educate clients and families on communication and swallowing disorders, providing practical strategies to enhance progress.Provide compassionate and individualized therapy services to clients with diverse needs.Requirements
Must hold or be eligible to apply for an ASHA certificationMaster's Degree in Communication Sciences and DisordersPEL certification is required before the beginning of the assignmentCFY's are encouraged to apply and will be considered (supervisor provided)Must have the ability to apply for a SLP license in the state of Illinois; license reimbursement is available.
