As a Speech Pathologist, you will:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for school-aged children.Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices.Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support each child's communication goals.Regularly evaluate and document students' progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.Serve as a resource and advocate for children with speech and language disorders within the school communityRequirements
Hold ASHA certification to be considered.A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required.Eligibility for or possession of an SLP license in Illinois is necessary.
