Ergon's Corporate Maintenance department has an opening for an Operations Coordinator in the Vicksburg, MS area.
Ergon is a family owned oil and gas company based in the Jackson, MS area with facilities. The Corporate Maintenance department services primarily the Asphalt and Emulsions division by providing an internal resource for reactive and planned maintenance for a network of 80+ locations across the US. Our divisions include the millwrights for support of rotating equipment and the fired equipment technicians for support of steam boiler and hot oil systems. This position provides day to day operations support of the Corporate Maintenance team and drives growth in continuous improvement efforts. This position supports the management, development, and implementation of operational systems, policies, and procedures. This position requires a positive individual who possesses a team-oriented attitude and works in a participative manner with supervision and co-workers.
Key Role Duties
Provide day to day support to the Shop Supervisor and Fired Equipment Supervisor to assist in the coordination of Corporate Maintenance servicesDevelop, track, and improve databases associated with work order management and equipment reliabilityCreate/manage work orders in KPI system, Clockify. Input technician hours and expenses into their associated work order.Collect and consolidate procurement card coding information and receipts for submittal to card administrator. Complete expense reports in SAP Cloud for travel as requestedCollect and enter technician time into payroll program, KronosMaintain PPE spreadsheet database. Coordinate equipment calibrations to ensure equipment and PPE is fit for service. (Multi meters, laser alignment, combustion analyzer, H2S monitors). Keep up with dates and notifications for PPE and equipment calibrationsManage vehicle fleet to ensure updated tag registration, maintain mileage log, maintain truck inventory records, and coordinate serviceDuties such as parts receiving, maintaining office and shop supplies, spare parts/equipment inventory, generating POs, and invoice paymentManage equipment in SAP by building new SAP files, gathering data for equipment information, and updating the location of equipment as work orders are completedPromote and aid in maintaining a clean and well-organized shop, office, and fleet vehiclesPromote maintenance/continuous improvement best practice initiatives and goals for application in the field. Identify inefficiencies and promote areas where improvements can be made such as 5S activities, equipment/tool evaluation, data tracking, etcImplementation and ongoing management of MaintainX (CMMS) in daily operations to manage spare parts inventory, work orders, procedures, and compliance programsOversee entire lifecycle of work orders in SAP/MaintainX/Work Order Dashboard from initiation to completionAvailable for out-of-town and overnight assignmentsOther miscellaneous maintenance duties as requestedEDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferredPrior experience in industrial environment and office managementRequires a self-motivated individual with strong leadership, communication, and organization skillsAbility to multitask and prioritizeExperience with SAP Plant Maintenance (preferred), Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience in reporting, data analysis, spreadsheets, databases and/or presentation softwareAble to receive and give feedback and constructive criticism from a variety of channels
