VP, Product Management

Shopmonkey.io, Pasco, Washington, us, 99302

Shopmonkey is on the hunt for a Vice President of Product who can juggle flaming swords while riding a unicycle-figuratively speaking of course. If you're a scrappy, hands-on leader who thrives in uncertainty and can inspire a team to reach for the stars (or at least the next sprint), we want you!

Lead with Grit:

You'll be the captain of our product ship, steering us through the stormy seas of innovation - driving clarity and executing the CEO's vision.

Get Your Hands Dirty:

We need someone who doesn't just sit back in meetings but actively participates in product decisions. You'll be testing features, gathering user feedback, and ensuring our product is delightful.

Inspire and Empower:

You'll lead a team of product managers and designers, turning them into a powerhouse of creativity and efficiency.

Strategy and Flexibility:

In the startup world, we don't have the luxury of a crystal ball. You'll need to be adaptable, pivoting strategies and making tough decisions with limited data.

What You Bring to the Table:

Product Experience: You've been managing successful products for the better part of a decade, with the glowing customer reviews to prove it. You know the ins and outs of product management like the back of your hand!Communication Skills: You can explain complex ideas in a way that a 5 year old would understand. Your storytelling will captivate stakeholders and team members alike, making them rally behind your product vision.Growth Mindset: You're always on the lookout for the next big challenge and aren't afraid to take calculated risks. Mistakes? You see them as learning opportunities.Data-Driven Decision Maker: You love numbers and insights as much as you love brainstorming sessions. You'll use data to inform your product decisions, ensuring we're not just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. If you're ready to take on this challenge and lead our product team to new heights, apply now and let's make it happen together!
