Position Summary:This is an salaried exempt level position reporting directly to the Capex Regional Manager with oversite for projects in North America.Job Purpose and Impact:The Senior Project Manager will partner with the business areas and (key) cross functional ADM stakeholders to manage expectations for project scope, schedule and budget as well as to receive buy in for project implementations while leading a team of professionals to execute on various project initiatives. In this role, you will ensure high-quality work for projects with high financial impact and significanceKey Responsibilities:Define project scope and plan the delivery of projects according a roles & responsibility matrix. Execute the project, including costing and implementation according the Front End Loading(FEL) guidelines.Assuring monthly project reporting to the stakeholders through FEL, execution, commissioning, and capitalization and closure.Scope change and risk management escalation processes.Complying with local legislation and ADM requirements for permitting, safety legislation, quality assurance, HACCP, GMP, Hazop as well as TPS policy.Supporting and driving contractor safety through the use of preventative action plans and safety metrics.Assure that the safety and reliability of existing equipment is maintained during project implementationCoordinate the team development of all necessary documentation for commissioning, training, maintenance and maintain all records required by legislation and policies.Coordinate and provide direction to contractual partners for project execution including the use of a well maintained work breakdown structure.Setting up project structure and coordination with project steering committee according project governance guidelines.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor or Master degree in a technical field, preferably in combination with project management engineeringKnowledge of cost engineering and key performance indicatorsKnowledge of industrial process project planning and scheduling with multi-craft trades, "S" CurvesKnowledge of industrial process project commissioning means and methodsProficient use of Microsoft Project, Primavera or other resource loaded scheduling tools.Knowledge of enterprise management systemsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent interpersonal English fluency communication skills, written and verbal.Additional Qualifications:Certified Project Manager or willingness to obtain certificationMinimum of 7 years managing several industrial projects of moderate to high complexity.Ability to work with EPC, EPCM companies executing under a variety of contractual methodologiesExecution of multi-year projects experience within the nutrition industry with an emphasis in plant based specialty proteins.Experience with execution on revamp, brown and green field projectsKnowledge of SharePoint beneficialThis position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life and dental insurance.ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check
