In this role you will join the Human Resources Team team and report to HR Manager.

You will accomplish day to day tactical objectives in support of the company and the department goals. Demonstrates adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. Embraces and promotes company core values to establish and maintain a culture committed to ethical practices, legal compliance, and a union-free environment. Takes initiative to participate in training and developing opportunities to prepare for current and future challenges.

Basic Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED1-3 years of relevant HR experience or equivalentStrong presentation skillsHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office and related program softwareExcellent written & verbal communication skillsAbility to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred Competencies:

AA/AS or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related fieldExperience in HR, recruiting or training in a manufacturing settingAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentResponsibilities

Role(s) - Primary role will be to create, develop, implement, and conduct training programs for all levels of the organization. Secondary duties will be to support the HR Team through onboarding, managing new hire orientation, accurately entering data, preparing various reports, and participating in improvement initiatives.

Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with management.Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers' specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.Sources and evaluates outside trainers for specialized training needs.Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and processes payment of expenses.Assists with Recruiting/onboarding efforts.Other duties and projects as assigned.
