We are seeking a
Construction Engineer
to join or Wagman Heavy Civil team to assist with our Pennsylvania projects. There will be a focus on bridge and heavy highway work, concrete, and transportation. Experience in heavy civil construction preferred and an understanding of structural engineering helpful. This candidate will aid in project management and completion.

We are multi-faceted construction firm with major operations in heavy civil, general construction and geotechnical construction services. Core competencies include: design-build, infrastructure, marine construction, modified concrete, grooving and grinding, and geotechnical construction services.
This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree. Heavy Highway experience , including scheduling and coordinating subcontractors. Familiar with grading, drainage, paving bridge construction, concrete, retaining walls, and all other highway construction scopes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented Essential Functions:
Support engineering team conducting Civil & Structural engineering evaluation that includes bridge applications, heavy highway work, design foundations Engineering and Drawing preparation Willing to assist project manager on related project requirement (QA/QC, maintaining productivity records, evaluating and/or tracking project cost and performance of the engineering system). Helps to coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and superintendents to ensure that the project is built per plan. Order materials / tools required for the job, track quantities Will review and approve shop drawings, draft RFIs and assist with submittals. Provides technical information to company supervisor and contractors to ensure work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions. Reviews, analyzes, and resolves field construction problems, discrepancies, or interferences with contractors. Provides interpretation of plans, detail sheets, and specifications for contractors or craft supervision Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground level to waist level. Frequent standing and walking required throughout a scheduled work shift. Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel occasionally throughout a scheduled work shift. Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands. Acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing required. Must have the ability to work on uneven surfaces. Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather Job Benefits:
