Position Summary
Bring EV charging and site electrical infrastructure expertise to customer discussions to help evaluate and recommend the optimal infrastructure solution to support the deployment of Orange EV trucks.
Position ResponsibilitiesEstablish relationships with leading electrical engineering firms to ensure they can best represent Orange EV's capabilities and specifications to design the most cost-effective infrastructure solutions for customersCollaborate with field sales personnel to lead the technical discussions with customers and prospects around the required and recommended electrical infrastructure and implementation strategies to ensure an optimal experience with their deployed EV trucks.Be the Orange EV voice at the table - on-site and via video and phone calls - with a customer's site electrician and EV infrastructure consultants.Perform site visits to observe first-hand the electrical situation and potential solutions.Prepare electrical capacity requirements based on a customer's near- and longer-term vehicle deployment plans.Analyze the amount and location of electricity coming into a site to help a customer make the most informed decision on how to maximize their ability to deploy the most EV trucks at the most efficient cost.Provide guidance to customers for scoping out projects that they might assign to electricians or put out to bid.Ability to build conceptual/feasibility reports, cost estimations, detailed design drawings, and grounding and surge protection evaluations.Bring expertise in on-site energy storage, peak-shaving, and backup strategies.Recommends safety improvements and adheres to all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to power, energy, and infrastructure projects.Ensure safety is a top priority in all infrastructure deployment and expansion plans.Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. An advanced degree is a plus.Proven track record of at least 5 years in electrical design, construction, and project management, with a focus on EV infrastructure.Experience in sub-contracting, real estate, utility planning, charging infrastructure, battery electric storage systems (BESS), and EV infrastructure projects.Ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the electric vehicle market and space, including charging technologies, infrastructure requirements, and industry trends.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Excellent project management and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-driven decision-making.Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.A strategic mindset with a forward-thinking approach to drive continuous improvement and innovation in EV infrastructure projects.Physical Requirements
