Director of Sales for EV Charging Deployment , you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market penetration for our EV charging solutions across the United States. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, business development, and a deep understanding of the electric vehicle industry.Responsibilities:Oversee and streamline daily operations across multiple project teams within the EV industry, ensuring efficient workflows and timely project completion.Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives in the EV sector.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while identifying operational risks and implementing appropriate control measures.Supervise the development and maintenance of project schedules for both internal and external reporting.Lead strategic business development initiatives within the EV charging industry, identifying and pursuing new opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion.Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the EV charging sector, fostering partnerships and expanding market presence across the United States.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to support long-term business growth.Oversee and lead the sales department, ensuring alignment with business development goals, optimizing sales processes, and driving overall performance.Collaborate closely with the executive team to develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that drives growth and revenue.Oversee the financial management of EV programs, including sales, revenue recognition, profit and loss (P&L), budgeting, forecasting, and accounts receivable.Lead and manage multiple high-performing project teams in the EV sector, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.Work closely with other departments, such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure that operational activities align with overall business goals.Provide regular updates to the executive team on the status of business development and operational outcomes, offering insights for continuous improvement.Qualifications:5+ years of overall professional experience, including a few years in business development, sales, operations, and leadership.Strong experience and skills in building and managing teams to accomplish a common goal.Possess practical expertise across all disciplines related to EV charging deployment, encompassing site acquisition, land use, construction management, environmental considerations, electrical systems, civil and structural engineering, as well as general contracting services.Professional and comprehensive understanding of project management principles that are relevant and applicable.Professional and comprehensive understanding of financial reporting of project results.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in public speaking and delivering effective presentations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Cross-disciplinary collaborations and interactions with external vendors.Proven ability to effectively lead multiple assignments, including managing multiple project teams or overseeing separate client offices concurrently.Exceptional skills in sales, negotiation, and mediation.If it sounds like a great opportunity, look below to see what’s in it for you:Collaborative Environment: Thrive in a team-oriented setting with supportive colleagues and a positive atmosphere.Innovative Work Culture: Join a team that encourages creativity, innovative thinking, and unique solutions.Continuous Learning: Engage with new concepts, ideas, and frameworks through diverse projects that challenge you to excel.Our culture:Utilities One was established 6 years ago.
