Summary/Objective:
The Manager, Marketing position will be instrumental in meeting ticket sales revenue goals and will oversee the integrated marketing and digital engagement of the club to align paid marketing initiatives with organic campaigns and activations.

Strategy
Develop social media strategy and content calendars for all social channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, Tik Tok, LinkedIn).Develop the Woodpeckers functional marketing and promotional strategy designed to primarily sell tickets and maximize brand exposure.Implement innovative marketing strategies that connect with the different target markets across social media and digital.Guide demand generation strategy to attract new fans to the purchase funnel, with a framework encompassing lead generation, nurturing, conversion, and retention. Lead generation prioritizations include full and partial season tickets, individual game tickets and group sales.Oversee the strategy, execution and reporting of fayettevillewoodpeckers.com & com.Create relationships and strategies with league partners, licensors, and key digital vendors to share updates and information.Analytics
Implement tracking tools to gather detailed analytics with the goal of optimizing social media performance through best practices on content, post-timing, amplification, and influencer marketing.Track and report social performance and provide ongoing analysesUse hard data and metrics to back up strategic recommendationsContent
Create, and deliver authentic and engaging content that excites and entertains fansWork closely with creative team on built-for-social content and style guide that incorporates animation, graphic design, product photography, and video.Organize assets and footage for cross departmental useShoot live and edit content that can be cut and used across multiple platformsEducation and/or Experience & Skills:
Required Qualifications:
Expert knowledge in all relevant social media platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, etc.A track record of managing and growing large followings and engagement on social media, notably Instagram and TikTok.Strong analytical and project management skillsExcellent knowledge of Google Analytics and reporting on social initiativesKnowledge of best practices using Reels, Stories, Live,Creative eye for copy, video, and design, and experience working with designersExcellent planning, organization, and workflow management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong ability to lead and work within teamsBackground Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Analytics or related field or equivalent experience2+ years of experience overseeing social media strategy and content developmentExpert knowledge of current social media platforms & trendsProven experience in copywriting, content planning and creation
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will oversee the daily operations of Marketing associates and interns.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including; extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Travel:
Rare travel may be expected for this position.
