Job Description

The

Sr. Specialist Sustainer

is responsible for the strategic and logistical management of day-to-day revenue generation, execution, performance, expense management, and trend analysis for Mass Marketing's monthly donor audience. This role collaborates closely with cross-divisional teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with Mass Marketing and ALSAC's Strategic Plans.

Essential Job Functions:

Strategy Development and Implementation:Develop and execute multichannel strategies aimed at converting, increasing value, and retaining the monthly donor audience.Manage marketing campaigns across digital, email, telefunding/mobile, and direct mail channels to cultivate sub-segments of the monthly donor audience.Ensure both short-term and long-term objectives are met by driving maximum performance and growth.Performance Analysis:

Conduct detailed analyses of recent and past results, including ongoing assessments of revenue and expenses.Support budget and forecasting exercises to track performance and inform strategic decisions.Effectiveness Monitoring:

Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of new and existing strategies.Utilize historical data, recent results, and future projections to develop and implement targeted marketing efforts, increasing fundraising and donor engagement.Collaboration and Communication:

Maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization.Outline tactics to internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met, goals are achieved, and stakeholders are equipped to address donor questions and feedback.Negotiate priorities and timelines diplomatically, maintaining composure and production quality under pressure.Campaign Alignment:

Work with other teams to ensure audience selection, content, and creative elements align with overall strategy.Review campaign materials for compliance with legal, bank, and USPS guidelines, ensuring adherence to mass marketing best practices and St. Jude messaging standards.Cost Management:

Implement cost-saving measures to maximize return on investment (ROI).Approve program costs to ensure expenses align with the budget prior to production sign-off.Organizational Initiatives:

Participate in key organizational initiatives as assigned by the Mass Marketing leadership team.Demonstrate expertise in marketing strategy development and detailed project management.Program Implementation:

Implement new program strategic initiatives as established by Mass Marketing senior management.Qualifications:

Thorough knowledge of mass marketing best practices to ensure brand integrity.Experience with emerging marketing platforms and channels.Comfort in a test-and-learn environment with a demonstrated growth mindset.Agility and ability to operate in ambiguous situations with excellent attention to detail.Proven experience in strategy development and cross-functional collaboration within a high-performance work environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external relations.Excellent command of English spelling, grammar, and usage.Ability to understand and execute complex verbal or written instructions.Proficiency in marketing communications and rhetorical tools.Strong typing skills and general knowledge of purchasing and inventory control.Demonstrated bias for action with problem-solving skills and innovative solution development.Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in mass marketing or fundraising.The position is based in Memphis, TN at our National Executive Office and will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule of three days in office.Benefits & PerksThe following Benefits & Perks apply toFull-Time Roles OnlyWe're dedicated to ensuring children and their families have every opportunity to enjoy life's special moments.
